New Testament Church - North London

For this installation, we were asked to provide a good quality, very loud pa system while trying not to stand out too much in this listed building.

We were also asked to install new plasma screens projectors and build a basic pa and video work desk.

Before:

The church pa system could not handle the congregational needs of up to 1000+ people. There were great big televison monitors that were installed for the people on stage (hung off the pillars at the front). These looked awful and were a safety issue as they were not correctly secured. Their black speakers, also mounted on the pillar, did not look or sound good. These did not really cover much of the congregation and when we first tested the old system they had been partly damaged.

After:

We made a lot of changes. We installed new speakers where the bug televisions were. This location gave better coverage to the main body of the church building. The speakers were custom built for us and finished in a varnished finish to help blend in with the building. They have a much higher power rating and SPL and sound very nice. We also put a delayed set part way back.

Stage visual monitors:

To replace the two large televisions that were on the pillar for the stage, we installed two 32” LCD screens tucked in behind the pillar. These cover the stage well and can be seen as they are brighter clearer images. These have achieved the same result while not being seen from the main church.

Also we installed 2 x 10 foot projection screens and new projectors to replace their old method of the front wall!

As part of the pa system, we also had a custom made high power sub added into the system and again we had this varnished to help keep it blending in as much as possible. As you can see it has also been used as a flower stand!

The Wings:

There were previously no speakers in the wings and 2 big tellys hanging off the beams. We installed speakers here and a 50” plasma screen on the front wall which covers the blind spots in this seating area.

We also installed a screen in the entrance hall so latecomers could see what was going on.

Other items on this installation: We supplied custom-made Stage Monitors, a Keyboard, Drum Screen, Mics Radio and Wired Amp Stands, Keyboard Stall, Cables and lots of other items.
